Here is a pic of the tree in the den.

Our Burning Bush

We bought this tree 3 years ago from a designer. They suggested wrapping each branch individual with the lights so the tree lights from the inside out. There are 5,000 lights on this tree. It took a whole week to wrap the tree and when the lights go out I am going to be done.

War Eagle!

I know my team did show up on Sat but I still have faith that this
will be a good season! We have the coaches and the players we just need a little faith!

The Hatcher's

Pumpkin Topiary

I made this last weekend! I bought all of the supplies from Michael's.

Fall has arrived at the Hatcher's house!

I've been decorating for fall to get ready for the kids b'days! The wreath came for Old Time Pottery for $24.99!

We still have not carved the pumpkins, it is still warm here!

The White House

Garrison thought that he could just walk up to the
White House and meet the President. Unfortunately for him, this is as close as we could get.

The Heat!

If I could go anywhere in the world this is where I would love to be. Brian and the kids could fish off the boat and I could be floating in the water. One of these days we will be there!

I traded in the Stang!

For all of you that haven't heard the news, the Mustang is gone to greener pastures. I traded the car in last month. Since I started working in town, I have had to do more of the mom's taxi cab, unlike before. I wanted a car with more room and was less on car insurance. I also wanted a car that I could give to Elizabeth when she starts to drive.

I bought a 2002 Nissian Maxima from Carmax. They gave me $1500 more than I owed on the Stang and we had looked several times before trading in and we had always been in the hole. They had the best customer service and was great to deal with. The car has low miles and has more bells and whistles than any other car we have ever had. It drives like a dream car and is so smooth!! Hmm, maybe Elizabeth won't be getting this car!

Here is JR Little Miss Liberty and 1st Runner Up Mr Liberty 2006

The kids had a blast riding in the parade in a convertible BMW!!! I never knew how many people actually know the kids, every where on Main St. people where screaming "Garrison, Elizabeth we want candy!" Elizabeth pegged me in the head several times, she really has an arm on her. Maybe next year we will try softball!

LIBERTY DAY 2006

Elizabeth clogging during Liberty Day! She had a blast dancing but it was so hot! The girls danced at 11 am and it was already in the 90's.

In two weeks we are off to Tn again! The girls where asked back to dance at the Country Tonight Theatre. We are going up on Friday and coming home on Sunday. We are going to make a girl's weekend out of the trip.

Here is Garrison singing his solo! We are so proud of him. Who knows he maybe the next big star.

Here is my favorite pics of the kids!

Duke at 1 yrs old

Here is our favorite "dog son". We are all so in love with Duke. He is the best dog that we have ever had and I do believe the smartest. If you are looking for a dog the Schnauzer is a great dog, they are human like, they do not shead, and they are a decent size.

Duke Hatcher

Here are some pics of our Schnauzer Duke! Duke just had a Birthday! I can't believe that he is already a year old. He so smart!

Hatcher's 2006

Here is our family picture with our new addition!
We had a great time and the kids (dad) actually behaved!

I am no longer a single mom!

I have been dying for a family pic with all of us in it and I finally have it! I still can't believe that I talked Brian into this. We went to Nashville, TN for the weekend to visit the TN Hatcher's and we all had our pics made for Darthy.
I can't believe how big my kids are getting. Elizabeth is no longer my "little girl" and Garrison is no longer my "little man".

Wow, What a Week!

This week has flown by so fast. Brian, the kids, and I spent all day spring cleaning the house! Everything is clean but our bedroom and the laundry room, funny how those two rooms never get cleaned. We have painted the office/scrap room but I can't pin Brian down to put my desk together. We will get to it eventually and I am use to being last.

Garrison has shocked me again this week! He wants to buy his girlfriend a diamond ring. I told him that a diamond was forever and that he needed to be sure that she was the right girl for him. Remember that he is only in the first grade! He told me that he was in love and that he was sure she was the one. I told him that diamond ring cost a lot of money, he then told me that he had 2,000 cents and that was enough. I don't know what I am going to do with him. This morning I found a night in his backpack from her that said she loved him! What is a mom to do, I am no longer #1.

I received the best surprise this week. My best friend from high school sent me a cd of all of the "Clubbing Songs" that we use to dance too. It really brought back some happy times! I miss all of my "old friends". I keep telling the kids to enjoy their childhood because when you get older life happens and it is hard to stay in touch. Elizabeth doesn't think their is a world outside of "Mayberry".

We bought Duke (our mini Schnauzer) an electric fence this week. He keeps running off into the neighborhood when Garrison or Elizabeth takes him out. The poor dog was scared to death the first two days. We had to force him off of the deck or the front porch. Brian was wrestling with him last night in our bedroom floor and the collar went off. Brian had ran the cord to the fence under our room to the box in the basement. So now we are going to have to re-run the wire. Our poor baby!

Pray for me this weekend, I am in the middle of finishing up W-2's and taxes!

Atlanta

We went to Atlanta this past weekend so Brian could buy a boat. I wanted to stay at home and get some rest but I was talked into going. Well, I can't go to Atlanta without going shopping, right? I ended up at the Pottery Barn Outlet. I bought the Bedford desk collection from them for a fourth of the original cost and then I got an additional 20% off! I am so excited now I can start working on my office! Here is a picture of the collection. I bought the double lateral filing cabinets, 1 two draw cabinet, and the desk top. I am hoping to get the chair the next time we go up. The outlet said that they get this collection in a lot. I will never buy anything directly from them again because they have just about everything in the outlet!

Well, Brian bought the boat. It is a 21 foot Bayliner and it needs some TLC. The boat is bigger than our truck. Our yard looks like a boat yard! If anyone wants a boat give me a call!

I can't wait till Friday!

Oh what a day! School started today, the auditor's are at the office and I am knee deep in taxes! I can't wait till this weekend! We are going to go to Atlanta and I could use another break! I guess last week spoiled me just a little. Oh, well I am going to get back to work.

Here is my dream car! Maybe one of these days I will be able to buy one! This is a 1965 289 engine convertible. I would rather have a black top but at this point I would take this one!

Happy New Years!

Wow! I can't believe that my nine year old daughter has talked me into this! I have no idea when I will have time to do this, I work two full-time jobs, going to school full-time to finish my accounting degree and I am the mother of two!

Congrats to the Tennessee Hatcher's! On Wednesday Dec. 28th they had a bouncing baby boy, named Jackson Aidan Hatcher. Wow! 8lbs and 1 oz.
